When you first come in our aim is to understand your specific wants and needs in picking out a jewelry item.  If you do not have a specific idea of what you are looking for then you are like most customers.  We will help to guide you towards an initial ring concept.		Next, we usually will show you a wide assortment of diamonds that match your criteria or that can help accomplish the overall ring impression that you are looking to achieve.  If you are not comfortable with using a jeweler's 10X loupe we can show you the diamonds under a microscope or even magnify them onto a large TV screen for your convenient examination.		Using sophisticated but easy to use gemological instruments we will help you narrow your selection to a diamond or several diamonds that you prefer.  At this stage you will gain a great understanding of how diamond color affects the price and the look of diamond.  We will also show you how the quality of cutting differs across different diamonds.

Your ring receives a lifetime's worth of maintenance when you buy it from The Diamond Vault.  As your ring wears we will polish every nick and scratch, we will check you prongs twice a year and provide you with ring cleanings -- all of this is done at no charge to you.
