Bargains FAQ: Why do
these diamond bargains exist?
All of our diamonds are cut by our
manufacturing facility. Some of the diamonds that come from
our factory floor come available to us at per carat pricing that is
especially lower than other options bearing the same approximate
weight, color, and clarity. This happens because there are
fluctuations in rough diamond pricing and also because many times
diamond parcel prices reflect an average of the quality of the
diamonds in the parcel and some of the diamonds (namely these) are
higher in quality than the average while maintaining the same price.
If you have a diamond with
lower manufacturing costs why don't you sell it for a higher price
to make more money?
Well....that's what normally would
happen, but a slower economy makes the consumer more eager to find a
great deal and these diamonds provide us with the perfect
opportunity to enable the consumer to find that deal. It's
good for us and it's great for you.
Can you extend these per carat
prices to other diamonds that I view in your stock?
Not really. These diamonds are
uniquely priced because of their unique situation. We cannot
emulate their prices with other options.
